Content Policy and Acceptable Use
Last updated: June 19, 2026
RomanceWriter.ai is a tool for writing adult romance fiction. This policy explains what you may and may not do with it. Using the service means you agree to this policy. We may update it as the service develops.
1. Adults only
You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, whichever is greater. The service is for adults and produces adult fiction.
2. What the service is for
RomanceWriter.ai supports a wide range of consenting-adult romance fiction across many subgenres and themes. Mature and explicit themes between consenting adult characters are within the intended use of the service.
3. Strictly prohibited
The following are never allowed, without exception:
- Any sexual content involving a minor, or any content that sexualizes a minor, in any form, real or fictional. We treat this with zero tolerance: we remove it, terminate the account, and report it to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) as required by law.
- Sexual content depicting real, identifiable people without their consent, or using a real person's name or likeness in sexual content.
- Content that reproduces or is built on other parties' copyrighted characters, worlds, or works.
- Content that promotes or facilitates illegal activity, or that harasses, threatens, or defames a real person.
4. Payment and platform limits
Some themes are not permitted because payment providers and publishing platforms prohibit them. These include non-consent or coerced sexual content presented as acceptable, incest or pseudo-incest, content sexualizing animals, and content framed as involving minors or "barely legal" participants. Clearly adult, sapient fantasy beings are treated as adult characters.
5. Enforcement
We screen content and may block, remove, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate this policy. Prohibited content involving minors is handled automatically and reported as described above. Other violations are addressed according to severity.
6. Your responsibility
You are responsible for the content you create and for how you publish or distribute it, including following the rules of any platform you publish on. See our Terms of Service.
7. Reporting
